Got back from a week out west. We didn't fill any tags but had a good time exploring this area.
So lets see how good some of you are. Can you spot the bucks.

To be fair, I did see another one up before I saw this one. There were 3 in this spot though.

so here is pic 1.

Might be in the shadow in the middle of the picture towards the top.

That's what I was thinking too. A deer per shadow towards the top. Not a good sign with four days between now and my badlands bow hunt.

I've come to the conclusion that you need a better spotting scope.:::

Lincoln, kinda...
I think I see him right in the middle of the pic, but I need a vision check as it gets quite pixel'ish for me when I zoom in and it could be my optimism.

Or you just need to invest some more coin into your camera. :D

I think most of the issue is with the camera I was using. It is an older camera and I didn't have the mount with to attach the camera to the scope.

Plus these deer were around 3/4 to 1 mile away from us.

Haha - I've been taking my older digital camera with. One that I'm not afraid of losing or getting beat up. I may have to retire that old thing.

DirtyMike and Johnr are correct though - he is in a shadow so he isn't real clear regardless.

I know looking through the scope myself, the image was much clearer than what the pictures show. For that I apologize. I know they aren't the greatest pics.

Your circle is correct but your crosshairs are off. You're aiming at a bush.

There are 3. 2 were laying right in the circled spot. One was a real small buck and I could only pick him occasionally when the other moved his head in a certain direction. There's a valley right in there and the 3rd one was off to the left and out of sight when I got these taken.

One buck was missing one side of his antlers and the other side had 3 points. Another buck was a 3x3 with a 14 to 16 inch spike coming up off the base and the other was a small 2x2.

It wasn't until they all got up and out in the open when I figured out the antlers on them. I tried to get a pic of them at that point but that one didn't turn out real well. They were moving out of that area pretty quickly.
