Changing a Vexilar FL-8SE from a Genz box the the Vexilar Ultra Pack Case

Has anyone done this? I'm really wanting to do it, as I'm getting a new Vexilar, but it comes on the Genz box already. It shouldn't be that hard to do, should it? Thanks

It's very simple, 5 minutes tops. I did that with mine just so it fits into a 5 gallon bucket.

What exactly do i have to do with the battery, since it has the battery reading station?

The battery readout is already wired in, just hook up the two connections to your battery and you're done.
