Looking to upgrade for his 2003 crestliner superhawk 1750. He's thinking of going fiberglass. Pros cons ? This boat is used on LOTW all summer. What to look for what to avoid. Thanks in advance

I never really realized how nice glass boats were until I rode over the waves this weekend. I never was to use an aluminum boat again!

If the budget is 50 to 60 he can do way better than a larson. Larson is heading to a mall near you soon. It;s a mall boat, it just ain't made it there yet.

I went with a good lightly used 621 Ranger with a 300 Verado. Every time I take it out I smile. 4th season and I bet I could sell it for what I paid for it.

I don't have any experience with Larson, but if your budget is 50-60 you can find some really good used Skeeters, Rangers, Yarcraft etc.. I also think a brand new Skeeter 2060 with everything on it is just over 60.

I like how people refer to certain brands as a "mall boat" but at the last 3 big tournaments I would have bet money that they were giving away a Ranger with every entry fee.
