I got home one morning and the yard was crawling. It took about a week to unfuck the situation.

I've done the same thing with squirrels. Thought I could be me, and they could be squirrels. Weren't chewing through garbage can lids, so thought I could coexist. Watched one of those m'fers come down my honeycrisp tree with an apple, eat for a while, and go get another. Didn't eat second one, just ran off and dumped it. In the meantime, watched another come by and grab a ground apple (allowable). He may live, the other likely had his last summer.

Is a guy able to get blackout plates with the same numbers as his current plates have? I'd like to switch one vechile to them if possible

Only specialized plates would switch over otherwise it's néw digits.

Wouldn't think it would be much different because they certainly aren't going to issue blackouts with any previous taken numbers already.

Exactly. I would assume one would wait until their tabs are close to expiration otherwise have to pay for those again on top of the $25 for the new plates.
