O Darling - 1/7/2023

Ran up to Darling for a few hours Saturday afternoon - Spillway ramp area. Set up about 330 - fished till 530. Cut holes in 20 fow up to 13 fow. They started biting just before 5 - ended up catching 6, kept 3 ok size eaters. Fishing on the east side of Darling obviously heavy snow - but it is crusted over nice...so walking out not bad. BTW, for some reason orange was the go to color!

Actually tough to tell from all the snow on top...trucks and wheelhouses out everywhere. Would guess close to 20 inches of ice tho, but if you fish east side of the lake unless you follow plowed path would need trax.
