I was out on Saturday. 13" of solid, clear ice out of Katie's Landing. Buddy drove his Colorado out. One half ton out as well. I still wouldn't venture long distances unless you're out in front checking. 13" doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room if you run into a thinner spot.Anyone been on Ashtabula recently? Wondering about ice thickness and if anyone's driving trucks on yet?
Easy, didn't you see that only "fishing" related content should communicated. Apparently ice thicknesses for fishing safety doesn't count.I was out on Saturday. 13" of solid, clear ice out of Katie's Landing. Buddy drove his Colorado out. One half ton out as well. He meant to post "Dear Abby - Any advice on what ice thickness may possibly be on Ashtabula? Asking for a safety-minded ice fisherperson...."NoDak Angler is suppose to be for fishing I thought, but it's turned into a Ann Landers sight
Then I would stay the hell off it. That sucks.NoDak Angler is suppose to be for fishing I thought, but it's turned into a Ann Landers sight

It’s been quite a while but down on the Glencoe botttoms there is a lake. Different names but it’s been called lost lake. The road in can be a real treat. No idea of what it’s like now.Has anyone every had success ice fishing the back channels off the Missouri? Trying to think of something closer to town to try vs driving 100 miles this weekend.
This is a fishing site damn it. You gotta say she would let you drill her hole and catch crabs...I heard Ann Landers was somewhat of a whore
