Cant recall much, if anything, that I agreed with Ed about, but differences in views or opinions is hardly a reason to wish or celebrate death on anyone. Or gloat that he died.

All this Christian prayer talk on websites baffles me when I remember from Sunday School many years ago to ask yourself “what would Jesus do, or say?” I doubt he’d jump for joy about any family’s tragedy. One can totally disbelieve in the concept of any GOD but still follow all the great stuff Jesus the man preached. I realize we are all human though, none of us is perfect, especially me.
So lets let Ed Rest In Peace.

While I won't shed a tear, I do appreciate Bob's thoughtfulness. Another voice of reason and compassion in an otherwise confused world.

I don't think anyone really does. My guess is it's simply relief that we will never hear that crazy arrogant liberal voice again. I am sure everyone would have felt even better if he would just go golfing and shut up. It's not his death people celebrate it's the antagonistic voice that will not agitate them further. People sometimes say things out of frustration. The fact is everyone here is better than that. Some people were angry with Dean's post. I'll bet dollars to dimes it was just a voice of frustration and that's not how he really thinks.

One of my greatest pet peeves is those dumb ass shirts that say what would Jesus do as if the dumb ass wearing it has a clue. One of these Christian motorcycle guys had a patch that said that. I walked up to him and said "he would die". What? I said "he would die" and pointed at his patch. I did the same thing after Sunday service to an empty headed pastor in a liberal church. Liberal pastors will hold your hand as they lead you to hell. I have friends that are honest atheists, but I can't stand to be near a liberal pastor. I think less of them than Ed. Hell will be full of them.
