Ok now for the serious questions.

1. Do you bring beer? If so what type? How many?

2. Do you bring sandwiches? Is so what type? How many?

3. Are you or anyone you have associated with in the last five years a skoni?

4. Are your dogs tails docked?

1. Don't drink much, but when I do it would have to be Bud Light, they can drink though.
2. Usually bring home made jerky
3. no
4. Lost my dog a couple years ago, before I got my boat. Maybe your on to something Eric maybe its time to replace mans best friend.

I have a good friend I have hunted with since 1980. If he says he will be at my house at 6:00am you can pretty much assume you will see him at 5:59am. We keep track of every penny we spend and split it at the end of the hunt. We apply together for deer license and he puts in for vacation the minute Game and Fish sets the opening day. We hunt other thing besides deer, but it all works out the same. 37 years and we have never let each other down.
Fishing- my wife is always with. She will fish past midnight if she hasn't her limit yet. She is the one that wanted the boat, and she purchased the ice castle. Her mother walked a mile to fish the river in their pasture. At about 80 years old she mounted a nice 20lb pike. And they think I'm the fanatic when it comes to hunting. :)

I love hunting and fishing alone. Really seems to be what I need. Think it's like meditation. Talk to myself a lot. I now like taking my kids. I do have a couple good pals that live in nearby towns that come once in awhile. I love that. But for most part the older I get the more I hate people so...alone is fine.

I rarely pull the boat anywhere alone. If we are at the camp ground already I will fish alone sometimes, but almost never leave from the house and pull the boat to the lake without someone with.

Ice fishing on the other hand I fish alone as much as with someone. I really don't mind eitherway.

Beer, bait, seeds, a sammich, and iheart radio is all I need on the ice.

Well I fish allot and am happy to take folks out as long as they pitch in for gas and bait. I have the boat and gear.
If you want to get on my call list message me and I'll put you in my phone and chances are you will be called. "I have allot of week days off"
Fish Sak with the boat mostly, but don't mind ice fishing either just haven't gotten to do much this year yet because of hunting stuff.
Will be headed to the Columbia the last part of feb and Winnipeg the day after we return from out west. If your interested in either and are serious about going message me, might have a spot open yet. Oh and you must not be a grumpy dick and you must love to fish from dark till dark. #$%^&>

I haven't been fishing much the last few years, I have been hunting a lot though. I hunt coyotes and prairie dogs year around and was lucky enough to hunt deer and elk this last fall.

Like you guys I have a lot of no shows that promise to show up but never seem to make it. If I'm leaving at 0500 then at 0501 I'm heading down the road. A couple of guys that wanted to go last year and showed up late were really surprised that I was long gone when they finally made it.

So I usually wind up hunting alone and thats fine with me, it's peaceful and quiet then just me and my Lab. We have a wonderful day outside enjoying our little part of the world.

I'm begining to think a good hunting or fishing partner is harder to find than a great girl.

Oh boy can I add to this one.

For the record- I HATE FISHING ALONE! Although I will take the boat out by myself. Ice fishing not usually.

1. I have a couple very solid partners who with proper planning are always on.
2. I have an off season and with everyone's life I still have to plan weekends to hang with my friends. In the summer when I am guiding I always work weekends so we just to don't get to fish together that often but I am still fishing.
3. I have people who always say "If you ever need someone to help SCOUT the river I would be happy to." This means they want a free trip. In the rarity I should take someone up on it they won't ask again because scouting with me sucks most of the time. Mapping, imaging, testing baits and I never fish a spot I know. Needless to say it is a lot of sitting and not fishing like they hope. I do have a couple friends that like to go with when I scout but mostly I am alone for that.
4. Weekdays in the fall and winter suck for me because everyone else has to work or lives somewhere else. Now that my boy is bigger we go after school so not as bad as it used to be.

Even with all of that I get 120 to 150 days in the boat so I can't complain.

You get invited to go then they say that they may have room for you and let you know, then they get where they are going instead texting a few hours in advance they text you we are here we are leaving in 45 minutes. I call that a sympathy text to say at least I tried

So if there's anyone around Jamestown that wants to get on the water this summer let me know.
