There's a funnier one from a day or two before this of a different Fargo (female) cop getting handled by a juvenile. A bystander had to step in and help her.

The female cops are a liability, I can't imagine anyone wants them for a partner.

I was kind of thinking this as well. Now depending on if he was loaded up with Meth as stated earlier a taser might not be as effective as one would hope. Still would be worth a try I would think. If 1 taser didn't do much to an individual that was drugged up good I wonder what would happen with more than 1 taser?

Just watched an interview with Fargo's chief of police David Zibolski on Valley News Live that was done this afternoon. He hasn't seen the video yet? So, there is a VIRAL video out there of three of his 150ish officers being assaulted, all three were treated and released at a local hospital, and he hasn't watched the video yet? That answers any and all questions I have on why this happened.

Pfft the only way they wouldnt have been cleared would have been if he was in cuffs and they shot him...this is ND they protect their own. I do not support what the guy did in no way shape or form but i think most of us would agree the police can and do get away with most things. Shit remember few years ago the cop that beat the shit out of the homeless guy? News seen the mugshot and that from my undertsanding was the only reason they went after the cop?

If he's going to punch cops he will punch anyone. So you engage and take him to the ground. You don't lick your wounds and hope someone else does your job.

I have always been and still stand for and with law enforcement. If I was a cop I would not want them backing me up. They showed how tough they were in the video. I have been in plenty of fights. If I got punched I went after them like a rabid dog.

So either he lied, an offense that would get any other officer fired, or he actually hasn't seen it, which means he is that disconnected from his patrol shifts. Either way, it's rotten and explains why Larry, Curly and Moe were completely unprepared for what happened, then picked their shit up off the sidewalk before chasing a violent felon. I agree with you. I just dont know what their training is..was just taking a wild guess as to maybe the reason they didnt go after him. I also stand for and with good law enforcement and not all law enforcememnt is that....

First of all, much appreciation to police officers like the brave souls who ultimately took down the bomber a few years ago and Cody Holte who gave his life to protect us. They were brave, selfless, and upheld their oaths to protect. They didn't do it for the pay, they did it out of bravery and integrity.

That said, these 3 deserve to no longer hold positions charged with protecting the public. They were weak, untrained, selfish instead of selfless, and have no business wearing a badge. Cowardly and weak. What happens if this guy has a gun in his waistband and starts unloading on unsuspecting public? Assault of THREE officers is escalation enough to pull some sort of weapon and do SOMETHING. 3 guns and 3 tasers I assume between the group and not one was wielded in an attempt to stop him. Abomination.
