Snow melted real fast yesterday and I spent the day drinking beer, getting a sunburn, and pumping water to keep my garages dry. Today.......same thing, only I get to start earlier. Not a bad way to spend some time in early spring IMO.
Last Sunday my wife thought I was nuts, but with the nice weather forecast for this week I felt a need to work on some load development
for my new rifle. Took about three hours to get it done, had to blow a path across the front yard to get to the bench and then blew a 10' path out to the 100 yard target. Wasn't quite ambitious enough to work my way out to the 200 and 300 yard targets?
I did a drive over the Missouri in Bismarck and then went up north of town. The river is still mostly ice in town, but is wide open by the time you get up to Double Ditch. Someone will be getting on the city to push the boat ramp open on Monday.
Today I rode the bike to the gas station and renewed the tabs, cleaned and reorganized the garage, and put all the ice fishing gear away. Now I have room in the garage to get the boat out of storage and get it ready for the water.
