So I wake up this morning after an inch of rain to all the praire trails out here being tore up and so far 3 vehicles driving through fields mudding and tearing around. Every time I hear or see this someone says only a couple bad apples ruin it for everyone. Well seems like it gets worse and worse every year. Or maybe the bad apples are just breeding and more idiots are growing up.

Sorry to hear that, to wet to hunt for us this morning so we went and did a little fishing with fair results. Worked for a few farmers and learned why we need to stay off the trails when it's wet,

Thanks! And thank you to the hunters who have the respect to do what you did. As a farmer it's probably the one thing that aggravates me the most. With soybean harvest coming and semis needing to go down those trails it makes it a nightmare when they are tore up

I understand ducks hunters have been waiting all this year for opener, but if it's gonna be that wet you need to go for plan b. I know it kills a guy to only use a dozen decoys but it's not worth tearing up roads and fields to pull a truck and trailer out there. Hunt a pot hole or just carry a few bags in the field. Hell I only used a dozen decoys and three mojos to kill a limit last year on opener and I was just hiding in the weeds.

The past few years I've been very suprised at hunters stopping by asking about land around my place, who owns it and how to get permission and best way to access some sloughs. And it's mostly NDSU students. All are always polite and thankful. I have no problem helping them guys out. I didn't make it out for opener but smiled many times all morning while I heard the volley of shots from all over....my only complaint every year is the fast food garbage tossed out along the roads. Empty beer cans increase as well...

Assholes. It ruins it for the respectful hunters. Treat the private land with respect or you'll be met with Posted signs you dumb shits!!
