Fishing Kayak Input Requested

I picked up a lifetime musky angler yak. I didn't want to spend a lot of money until I knew I would like having a fishing yak. 31" width. 10' long. I Paid a little less than $400 shipped to my door.

Looking at Orcus' pic.......what's the law on licensing a yak?

Kentucky, If you purchased it or brought it from out of state you have to pay tax on it first, they send a note to DNR if I remember right and then you can get it registered. Same as a boat, ID numbers and registration sticker. I am taking the kayak to the Jedi Bullhead Tourney tomorrow. Hope to see you there.

Kayaks don't need to be registered at all unless they're powered. I suppose they technically should be registered if they have an electric motor, but I can't say I've ever seen a kayak with numbers before, or at least never noticed it.
