Flies

Seems the flies are especially bad this year. Any tips for keeping them off of you or out of your yard, campsite, etc?

I concure,some beeches are driving me crazy,tried a new body wash in the shower,no go,then fell for the "monster trapper" bug catcher pos,no go so back to tacky fly tape in the pole barn so I can smoke a cigar in peace every evening, tape still works great.,even put a piece of the fly tape on my hat whilst on the tractor/wheeler works great for head dive bombing deer flies.

I take a small spray bottle mixed with Tempo for in the boat. Ankle biting bastards will drive you crazy if don't spray.

I tried the old Irish spring bar of soap at the camper two weeks ago with mixed results. On the boat however the flies were around but never got bit. :;:huh
