My nieces and sister inlaw sang at my pa's funeral recently..it was beautiful, as if sung by angels.

Sorry for your loss....gives me goosebumps listening to this and thinking about what a tough situation it must have been for those girls to do that! Kudos to them! I remember speaking at my grandfather's funeral at a similar age and could hardly keep it together.

Funny you mention that, our neighbor on the ranch passed away. It was a very small service and on his tombstone it read " I did it my way"

I'm not planning my funeral quite yet, I was looking for "what are you listening to" and gave up. I have an 8 year old granddaughter who has a beautiful voice and she loves to sing. Hopefully when it's my turn to go she will be in her 30s and have a daughter who can sing as good as her. I like this song.

I had a friend and coworker that had this song at his funeral. He was told he had 10 to 12 months to live, and lived 15 months. He had stage 4 lung cancer. He planned his own funeral. Clear down to songs pallbearers and casket. Before his diagnoses we talked at work alot as we work side by side for 5 yrs. We even talked about what we would say at who ever died first. I'm embarrassed to say, I couldn't talk as I broke down. He was a good friend.
