My daughter had one of those Geo Metro's 3 banger and 5 speed with air conditioning. She gave it to us when she got a different car and we had around 150,000 miles on it and then gave it to my son and he ran it over 200,000 miles and sold it to some other person. Not a suv but remember the "Geo Metro? 3 banger manual 5spd 58 mpg's ran smooth like a sewing machine. Can't think of any suv getting 25mpg's these days. Subaru is close and just remove the rainbow decal.
DUH! All that power!!2007 Ford Focus ……Only bad thing is that it ate tires like crazy. LB
Spot on, bring in thousands of people that have zero intent of adapting to the US culture, they are here to foil the American dream.Imagine living in MSP 20 years ago and enduring the change that a few evil greedy people foisted upon their communities. Absolute evil beyond my comprehension.
I’ll never get my mind around the WHY of it all. Take a high trust society and wipe it off the face of the earth in a couple short decades.
You people in Bismarck that stood up and resisted Lutheran Social Service’s attempts to import evil dodged a WAY bigger bullet than most will appreciate.
When Tex Hall was tribal chairman , I thing in the 80s he tried and tried , not sure what the main obstacle was.Just can't quite figure out why the USA didn't start building A few more refineries about 10 yrs ago? I know, most will say its the Dems and some will claim the Rep's, are behind it, but it is just stupid.
The last refinery (small scale)built in the US was 2022 in Galveston,Texas. It has been since 1977 since the last larger refinery was built. A few have increased their capacity but that is the extent.
Embarrassingly whiny thread. High gas prices have you guys all tizzied up? Heaven forbid we get an unnecessarily developed plague unleashed on us or something of truly nefarious intent. Like a slow takeover of the U.S. and Canada governments by Islam loving globalists for instance.
I filled my 1000 gallon tank with offroad #2 for $5.80 a gallon early this week. Talked to a neighbor that bought a tanker load for $5.60. Was on a road trip today and needed fuel, payed a little over $6 for #2 clear road diesel, the premium roadmaster was $6.30.Went and filled my red diesel jugs for tractor this morning I usually get 20 gallons for around 40 bucks , this morning I 18 gallons for 100. Struck up conversation with a guy filling a field service tank he said it will cost him 1000 bucks to fill his tank, I asked him if it will last all day and he said no, this is my first trip of 3 . Combine, grain carts and a tractor cultivating . He seemed mighty nervous and jittery.
