Worked the hay fields with no ice water, just 2 gal vinegar jug wrapped in burlap and put in the stock tank overnight. As the day progressed the taste of vinegar got stronger but it was wet and thats what really mattered. LB

Question.

What has happened to most in today's society that they can't take the heat? 🤷‍♂️

When I grew up, there was no air conditioning in the house, we opened window at night and used fans. No misters were set up so people could cool down, no free ice, no cooling shelters.

Maybe went to the pool or lake on a hot day was the extent of us getting cooled down.

Don't shoot the guy asking the question, just curious on why this has changed over the years.
I purchased a new Bronce in 1985 and was the first vehicle that had AC. . You

We used bleach jugs. The taste of bleach never left the jug. A when the well water tasted funny we would pour a could of gallons down the well. You would taste bleach for a few weeks.
