Yes Sir....I think people shooting the 110gr TTSX's get closer to 3350....but the 130gr just shoots so well out of my rifle, I never had the desire / need to try them.


This kind of stuff makes me question my namesake and I don't like it. You're essentially saying IMHO, the 7Rem is redundant and can be surpassed in an '08 case. This is much un-cool.

Ha! I'm not going to say that, ballisticly the 7Rem will still out-perform the .308....there's no doubt. However with the fear of flinch development as well as a smoking deal I got on a TC Icon years ago....I rolled with the .308. But, it is nice knowing that knowing for similar performance, I'm using 34% less powder.

What was you average for that string? Could this increase with the 7R? Holy hell it's only advertised at 3110 in factory 150's.

That's pretty close to the average. Pretty sure ES/SD is <20fps/<10fps. The 30" bbl helps velocity some (grin)
