People jump to conclusions all the time. And the headlines on this post is exactly that. I have known Bob for 20 yrs or more and he is a far honest man. If a person has trouble with Bob its because he had it coming.

This kid is 24 yrs old and should know better. So don't go and try make Bob out to be a bad person because of his son. Bob deserves more than that.

If you all haven't had kids that are older, you just never know anything for sure. You do your best to bring them up right and respectful. This is where the saying "Shit Happens Sometimes." After raising kids, I always say don't judge people for shit their kids sometimes do. Don't judge kids for shit their parents sometimes do. It can come back on you pretty fast talking shit about good people. The lesson we learned from all the years raising kids is "Don't Judge" because karma can be a bitch.

I wonder if the young man had resident licenses in any other states? If so, did he hunt there and was he a valid resident there? I'm thinking along the lines of Lung Deflator's thread a month or so ago regarding moving out of state and the validity of any ND resident tags he may draw before he leaves. ND G&F basically said once he moves, resident tags are invalid.

I've never met the kid or the dad. I'm sure it's exceptionally embarrassing for the dad.

Having siblings that were all honor roll multi-sport athletes from grade school through high school, I was definitely, “That Bed Wetter kid” that other parents didn’t want their kid hanging around. I’m sure there was no shortage of people who wondered what the hell went wrong as all the other kids my parents raised were admirable people. I can tell you that you won’t catch any of my siblings doing shit like going by “Bed Wetter” on the internet. Point is, parents can only do so much. This doesn’t smell like poor upbringing to me.
