Gonna be tough on wildlife. Specially the birds.
Everything thing is encrusted in solid ice.

It's supposed to be 36 degrees by 3 am and stay that way all day , It should be all melted by tomorrow afternoon.

Luckily we dodged a Christmas blizzard with the warm temps. It would have been a bugger if it would have been 20-30 below.

We have a pretty sharp incline at the shop I work at. Couldn't even park on it, kept sliding down.

I guess I park in the grass today? Tell me why we're open?

Garbage day for us - had to use the garbage can like a walker just to get to the street.

You always get those ones that "have to" get, have, or go. But I hear ya.
Dog couldn't hardly even stand to take a dump out there this Am. Still raining, hopefully melt some off.

We have half inch or more of ice covering everything, raining still. Power went out last night from 3 pm to 9 pm, then again around midnight. Lights woke me up at 3 am. Flickering off and on now. Frustrating.

That being said, board games and family time isn't a bad thing. I just pray for all the linemen's safety as they respond to try and restore. Won't be a Christmas to forget for us.

It was pretty funny watching the chickens walk across the yard this morning. They could hardly take a step without flopping around.
