Going to be in the area and wondering how the fishing is on Ashtabula. Haven't fished there in years and was wondering if it was worth pulling the boat over. Any info would be appreciated.

I've done well all year with spinners.

It's been slow for me compared to past years. Pulling cranks.

Jigs or spinners along weedlines out to 15FOW perch and smallies…white bass in the evening
Reports on walleyes are deep on channel edges jig or lindy rig worm or leech

walleyes being caught on cranks are deep runners down to 20 FOW in and out of channel

most fish I have heard of being caught are from bayshore up to north of crossing...as of last weekend water was unusually clear for this time of year
