Might re-think swimming in that lake or let your pets go for a swim on a hot summer day.,couple years back the natives electro fishing caught a 61"er so mille lacs has some pigs.,Over the years we found muskie fishing is best at night late summer full moon ,flat water as guyz pound the shit out of the lake all summer, skis see just about every pattern/bait known, trolling was good mid summer with sppon plugs right in the prop wash running about 2.5mph,then the word got out, everybody was speed trolling, the bite went down hill from there until some figured out night fishing with noisey top water patern lures.

PS;Mille Lacs Band DNR biologists say they may have boated a world-record muskie during electrofishing activity this spring on Mille Lacs Lake. While engaged in spring electrofishing activities for walleye, DNR Aquaculture Biologist Keith Wiggins-Kegg and an electroshocking team found a giant muskie was also within the shockwaves.61.8 "s world record ski caught is 61.25"s caught in 1949.this big girl was released.

most digital scales top out at 50lbs,cradles have been replaced by giant hoop nets, easier to manage these monster fish than a cradle.

I was thinking a craddle to help with weighing fish. I’m hearing you though

P.S. I've had an affliction to Ahab a few fish, but how the hell do you long arm a 50lb fish? I need to go back to the gym.

A skin mount of a 50-60lber would be sweet.

I DID A SKIN MOUNT OF A 48" Pike once,it lasted about 5 years then the skin spilt, tail and fins curled, and when I wasn't looking the new pup got up on the couch and ate the tail off, recent years, replica's no issues just collect dust

P.S. walleye replica's over 10lbs suck, seems getting parts that big are a issue, had a 13lb walleye done and it came back with a king salmon tail.just a butcher job.
