Because its a bit of a law.

North Dakota. According to the North Dakota Century Code § 39-10-08, drivers in North Dakota must operate their vehicles on the right half of the roadway, except when overtaking or passing another vehicle, when making a left turn, or when the right lane is closed due to construction or other valid reasons.

That is more than $20 fine when was last time you got picked up. I drive fast too, and my driving record shows that you are one lucky man. The ones over 100 are quite fun with officer's good thing I know two very well and do work in their office at times helps 50/ 50 got to try. Been to many classes and on line safety training to get my points back you would think a guy would learn. A little bit of Triva most all vehicles max out at 99mph must be a thing
I usually drive 5-10 under the speed limit but if I am driving the speed limit on a two lane and someone tailgates me, I just slow down a little bit to get them to go around me. If I'm on a 4 lane or Interstate driving the speed limit in the left lane for whatever reason and someone comes up behind and starts to tailgate me, I won't more over because I don't want to encourage them to speed and put other people's lives at risk! Speeders and aggressive drivers kill people!

It amazes me how many people care what lane people travel in. You can tell the people who haven't driven on 6 to 10 lane highways very much. It only makes sense to use both lanes, because that distributes wear more evenly and prevents costly repairs having to be made as often. If you don't like someone going to slow in the left lane, pass them on the right, its really not that hard to figure out ladies.
You my good friend Shaniqua are part of the problem.

It sure doesn't mean 5-10 under the limit.
You might want to take up pedal bike riding since you obviously have all fucking day to get nowhere.

On the 2 semis driving side by side for longer distances then 5 miles, why can't the fuck tard that can't make the pass let off the throttle and get back behind the one he's trying to pass instead of holding up traffic for God knows how many miles?

You forgot the exceptions part

North Dakota Century Code Title 39. Motor Vehicles § 39-10-08. Drive on right side of roadway--Exceptions

Current as of January 01, 2024 | Updated by FindLaw Staff
1. Upon all roadways of sufficient width a vehicle must be driven upon the right half of the roadway, except as follows:
a. When overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction under the rules governing such movement;
b. When an obstruction exists making it necessary to drive to the left of the center of the highway; provided, any person so doing shall yield the right of way to all vehicles traveling in the proper direction upon the unobstructed portion of the highway within such distance as to constitute an immediate hazard;
c. Upon a roadway divided into three marked lanes for traffic under the rules applicable thereon; or
d. Upon a roadway restricted to one-way traffic.
2. Upon all roadways any vehicle proceeding at less than the normal speed of traffic at the time and place and under the conditions then existing must be driven in the right-hand lane then available for traffic, or as close as practicable to the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway, except when overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction or when preparing for a left turn in an intersection or into a private road or driveway.
3. Upon any roadway having four or more lanes for moving traffic and providing for two-way movement of traffic, no vehicle may be driven to the left of the centerline of the roadway, except when authorized by official traffic-control devices designating certain lanes to the left side of the center of the roadway for use by traffic not otherwise permitted to use such lanes, or except as permitted under subdivision b of subsection 1. However, this subsection may not be construed as prohibiting the crossing of the centerline in making a left turn into or from an alley, private road, or driveway.

There are more than a few states down south that will pull you over for driving in the left lane if you’re not passing someone

It's also illegal not to leave enough room between the vehicle in front of you and yourself to allow another vehicle to pass. This shit happens all the time on 85. People get behind someone slow and won't pass. Makes it hard for others to pass because pretty soon there are 3, 4, 5 vehicles in line that won't pass some dude drive 55-60 miles an hour. If you want to get by, you have to pass multiple vehicles at once. It's stupid. If you're happy driving 5-10 under the speed limit then get the hell out of the way for those who aren't.

When I'm on the road I drive 2 mph over limit until the first vehicle passes me at a faster pace then I play follow the leader and always at a safe distance , like 1/4 mile at the least and if I see brake lights I slow down. I smile when we both get passed and then I follow that leader.
