i'm ready to go right now... 2 more days of work till we head to devils thursday morning and hopefully christen the livewells early, and fill them thursday thru monday... we have family coming from fargo and msp as well... we will camp and fish and cook and feast with family and friends, and celebrate the lives of those who are gone... weather looked good this morning, but kinda sketch tonight... hope it turns out nice and the fish cooperate... need a little warmer water i think, but we'll see what happens...

Was going to go to Fargo with friends and watch Redhawks. They are sure to play better than Twins! Friends cannot make it. Looking at going to Detroit Lakes and fish for panfish instead.

I'm jealous of you guys headed up to the big devil. Put the boat in 5 FOW and cast to shore, look for patches of new reeds.
Throw thumper tail swim baits and Rapala SSR. White to perch colors... Move till you find em then look for spots that are similar.

15 pike to each eye but they will be good ones. Or drag crawlers or cranks anywhere for a limit of eaters.

sounds good, but realize that "a" is a relative term where i camp... could b a 6, 12, 18, 24, or a pint, fifth, liter, or 1/2 gallon... will be bout 5 miles west of town... will pm you my # and should have a report for you by thursday night...

I live in devils lake and all this fishing talk drives me crazy too. I told myself I ain't gonna do any fishing until the yard is in tip top shape. So, maybe I will make the maiden voyage in October of next year. Good luck and enjoy your weekend.
