I'm jealous of you guys headed up to the big devil. Put the boat in 5 FOW and cast to shore, look for patches of new reeds.
Throw thumper tail swim baits and Rapala SSR. White to perch colors... Move till you find em then look for spots that are similar.

15 pike to each eye but they will be good ones. Or drag crawlers or cranks anywhere for a limit of eaters.

The wife and I plan to do minor cleaning at two cemeterys and major work at an abandoned one on Thursday. Do this every year. If weather doesn't permit we have backup plans for Friday or Saturday.

Heading to fargo for my nephews graduation. Pulling the 5th wheel so I can escape when needed. Another opening camp season weekend spent doing nothing I like. But congrats to all you grads anyway, cause it isn't always all about me.

We'll be having a 65th anniversary party for my grandparents on saturday and our annual fish fry on sunday. Will be visiting the cemetery either sunday or monday morning. Monday I have to head down to Walcott to pick up our pup. Been a long 3 weeks without her. Still have my fingers crossed that I may squeeze in some time to put the boat in.

It's gonna be bumper boats this weekend, fish should be snappin, bring leaders if you value anything you are throwing in the lake as the 3-4 pound pike are everywhere. Be safe, no need to get your name in the paper.

Working, making sure you all have cheaper gasoline. Parents due in from Ohio Saturday sometime and might slip out with the boat in the evenings if everything on my route behaves. If not, fish-O-rama will start a week from tomorrow.
