was was in central ND today about as central ND as you can get. nothing much going on here. couple feeds of bigs, couple strings of lessers. nothing mind blowing. some huntable fields of darks if a guy cares to but at this point the migration is barley a pulse down here. I did notice some divers on many of the bigger sloughs so that's always an option too.

Some days I wonder if I'm the only one who has this guy figured out. Then there seems to be a little hope. Lmao the way he posts his shit. Makes it sound so high and dramatic like he's part of some big fucking club or something.

Well I saw a half dozen waves this morning heading south so it's not like there not starting to show up. Buddy's hunted a flock of about 3,000 about 20 miles north of me today. Not huge numbers by any shack but they are starting to build.

More like a truck load. Especially the devils lake ones since they seem to be guides. Oh and the duck numbers were up a touch. Not a ton more but a noticeable increase.

Just checked 10-day forecast for Winnipeg and Saskatoon. Highs in the 40s and 50s and lows right around freezing. No big storms in sight.

Even with he big NW wind Friday, I'm not holding my breath.

I tend to agree with ya too. theres gonna be that constant trickle into the state and also birds leaving the state its just that time of year. the next intense cold snap ( lows into the teens/single digits)and/or significant snow event will move the motherload.

It's shaping up to be like last year. They fly in on Monday and are out by Wednesday.

I know there are pockets of birds after the big freeze, and I have buddies who are are notorious for finding late season greenhead action, but man...by that point I'm firmly in rooster mode. It would be nice to get a good push of birds that stay for a week or two. The past couple years it's been super quick.

I know that Halloween weekend has, for me personally, experienced some epic cornfield action. But it's been at least three or four years. Maybe five?

How do you guys figure they were here and gone last year. last year they moved in like normal around the 27th of Oct and they stayed till Nov 25th. this first pics was on Oct 28th and the last was the 22nd on nov. this years birds started coming in about a week early but are spread further out then is normal. they will show up in mass over the next few days front or not they will migrate like they always do till they are forced to speed up due on ice.

Dean I was shooting snows by Ashley on Dec 2 last year. So they weren't gone on Nov 25. When u speak shit do u speak of a certain area u normally hunt or do u speak of the whole state. ND seems like a pretty big area for one man to cover and know specifically when birds arrive and depart. Maybey u pay highschool kids to drive around and report back to u so u can give out these top notch migration reports. Heh? Ur not as cool as u think u are, nor that bright. I can only imagine how much time u spend on Google copying and pasting the info to this site to make urself look so damn cool. U gotta be a fucking biologist.
