A co-worker of mine has one and he really likes it. He has poor circulation and it works very well for him.

I have the camo jacket and it works well. I use it for bow hunting in the cold and like that i dont need to wear bulky clothing. battery seems to last 2-3 hours on max setting. I have wondered if a heated vest under a regular jacket would hold more of the heat in.

The heated jackets work very well they all use the basic same design. I bought a core heat soft shell liner to use under my other jackets, the jacket does very well at keeping my chest back warm. I paid 85 dollars for soft shell jacket which was a closeout ,anyone that hasn't tried a heated jacket yet should they are awsome

Speaking of heated jackets, anyone ever use heated gloves? Would love to find a thin liner glove that is heated.

I bought gloves and sock liners that are heated by gyde gerbing
The next generation style gloves may be better becuase the battery area is quite bulky other then that when it was -23 out hands were good to go.

The fingers are not bulky like the rest of the glove so I think they would do good wearing for hunting in a stand.

Both the wife and I have the Milwaukee heated jackets and they work well but need to be used as the base layer. They do not work very well if worn over a sweatshirt, both of ours are 4 or 5 years old so they may have made some improvements since then.

The wife also has the thermocell heated insoles for her boots that she says really work good for her. Her feet are always cold even with 2000 gram thinsulate boots but she can wear 600 gram boots with the thermocell insoles and says her feet are nice and toasty.

The heated jackets are nice for cooler weather not cold weather... The Milwaukee VEST is a great layer to wear under your other hunting/fishing clothing. Milwaukee makes an adapter to use the 18Volt battery which will give you 8+ hours of heat which is great for late season hunting or ice fishing. The only downside the 18 volt battery is bulky.

I am old fashioned and believe whiskey and the extra layer of fat I carry around full time are unbeatable
