SD is drawing so i should know about west river by the morning then apply for goats and east river seems it takes about two weeks to complete the draw down here

And in SD they don't take your money for the tag unless you draw!! Wow amazing, then you don't have to deal with refunding most of the money you just took in . . . ND needs to get their act together!!

I asked the ND game and fish last year why they don't follow the SD model. They said they'd "look into it." I think they like holding my $275 all summer.

Same here . . . except I applied for 3 tags, so $831 (my rifle & muzzle and my wife's rifle) since May! All that to just get it refunded back in another month. Too bad you can't just buy preference points.

Yeah, another great idea ND needs to look into. Just let us buy the damn preference points. Great idea if you can't hunt that year, but don't want to miss out on points. A reform needs to be done. Perhaps they don't want to listen to the state to the south that seems to manage these things a lot more efficiently.

Drawing is done. No prized slim butte tag. Maybe next year when I have 6 points.
