I tried giving Lycan positive rep for shits and giggles and it told me I had to spread my rep around before giving any more to lycan.

It seems the site is designed to make one a rep slut spreading it around and all that. It has been months since lycan got a good rep and I still gotta spread it around first.

Maybe that fella with the limited vocabulary spreading bad rep around got the bad rep VD online. Bad rep herpes.

So is the bad rep like the good rep where the site makes ya spread bad rep around before ya give someone some more?

Anyone that thinks they have a have a strong suspect should call them on it and ask them to send rep.

Many of us have experienced dogged stalking behavior simply due to a difference of opinion on certain topics from YEARS ago.

Putting up with reminders of a debate that took place 3 years ago or on another site is one reason I occasionally prefer to anonymously tell somebody to knock off the BS. If it's done anonymously that avoids the issue of having them rag your a$$ for years afterward.

If there's one thing that bugs me about this site it's the old grudges that never go away. Reminds me of the middle easterners.

I got a bad rep for a joke, I don't really care who sent it, but I would have like to know why the joke was offensive. I did appreciate KDM ripping me a new one for titty pics that upset him... better than an anonymous bad rep but would have had the same effect....

I was joking about the parking outside work deal guy. Perhaps that is the problem often times.

"care" is perspective I guess. I explained my degree of "care" about the unsigned negative rep deal, I just don;t understand it and am somewhat amused anyone thinks unsigned rep works.

The whole rep deal as explained by Volmer was to give him a tool. Okay I get that. But reality is if Volmer is going to be credible in the use of the tool as it was designed he is going ot have to sort thru the petty stupid unsigned negative reps and figure out which are nothing more than some one with a personal vendetta and which are actually what that tool was meant to do.

Signed reps all it would would take is a quick gander to see some names and know.

In the big picture I think I have gotten more positive rep than negative so the "care" level is not what you might think.

I simply am curious about peoples thought processes behind what they do and I just don;t see how unsigned snarky rep is going ot do much of what it was maybe meant to do.

Hell maybe people see an unsigned negative rep like this and think holy this anonymous asshole thinks I'm an asshole .......I better stop being an asshole...........

I am curious about the have to "spread rep around" if bad rep is the same as good rep. If it is, somebody must be handing out the ones like I shared pretty good.

stalking - i dont know about stalking but i have seen plenty of badgering on this site many times. A select few members (they know who you are) who think they are holier than thou beat up on a member just because they disagree with a point or two. I imagine they sit back and rub their hands together and give a Bad Rep. And then they say "Oh boy wasnt that fun" and one can only imagine that made their day. I dont know where to check em the bad reps - or how to give em. Even pictures of a walleye -- the last one i posted on a forum - it got badgered up - it was like wtf.
