The prospect of an additional boat ramp in BisMan is exciting though it appears they intend to put it in a popular shore fishing spot.

Boat ramps and docks don't really seem to have a negative impact on shore fishing from what I've seen. Not a proud story to tell but I watched some kids catch more fish at the boat ramp while I was loading the boat than I caught all day.

If the ramp is put right in the eddy that everyone fishes then the spot would effectively be eliminated.

Sure..why not? Actual coat $300k profit for said construction company..1.3 mil....sounds about right.
In all honesty another ramp for access to the river around bisman will be nice. I would take another ramp any day.

I wish they would turn that area just north of 94 into a beach area. It always a
Has water in there. Seems like wasted space that could easily be developed for recreation.

They just commenced a study on replacing the Grant Marsh bridge over 94 so not likely any money will be spent on that area until that's sorted out.

Hmm, me thinks they should consult a hydrologist. Cleaning off a ramp every now and then may get expensive. Or, is an annual dredge in this budget for X number of years?
