I would've done everything in my power to keep that fish alive and get it to an aquarium. Cabela's etc would surely give a gift card. The boy & I kept an empty cooler, aerator and GF on speed dial for instructions to keep within ANS bullshit. The big plan was to take the state record SM from Audubon, display it on loan at the Garrison hatchery then get some line/other crap.

The plan for a 33+lb brown trout was tying multiple stringers together and sending a runner up the hill...
