Newer Chevy center console

How are you guys storing your rifles on the newer chevys with a center console? Just got a 2017 and it’s terrible for hunting, I didn’t think it would be this big of a problem but I gotta get something figured out

My brother uses one of those "w" shaped gun holder things on the center console and puts the forearm of the rifle in it, with the butt of the rifle resting on the back seat. When you add suppressors, bipods, and slings, it gets a bit clunky to get in and out, but it's not bad.

I remember back in the days of my youth I just cradled my rifle in my lap while I drove the team. LB

In my F250 I mounted a closet rod holder on the floor to place the barrel. Works really well.

hmmm must have bucket seats as the spilt bench works perfect,crew cab? lay the rifle on the floor behind the driver seat,works for me in the past but even with buckets for a quick exit with gun in hand passenger side seat with muzzel on the floor..

This. It is the sole reason I stayed with the Ram Express model rather than upgrading. I always said that all I need in a pickup is 4x4, air, cruise, 4 doors and power windows.
