Not gonna lie, this thread REALLY got good between posts #63 and #86! Laughing my ass off!

Thumbs Up

seems like dean is involved in a majority of the "heated debates" I am a touch slow at work and was laughing between posts #63 and 86!

back country

See more synonyms on Thesaurus.com
noun1.a sparsely populated rural region remote from a settled area.

By your definition only pretty much Alaska would apply since there are only a couple spots in the lower 48 that can't be walked out of in a day! Boy you get hung up on such a simple term for no good reason then to try and make a fight where none exist and yes I'm aware that only your opinion of sioux and Corson county is what counts because you are the Undisputed master of all things Standing Rock and I bow before your greatness!

Antler is "back country"....who knew.

And Bismarck is shut down again!

Wife tried to leave this morning but apparently some got stuck in a drift and left their car blocking the road out of our neighborhood. Could get intersting when the plows get around. The drifts in my back yard are just about to the top of the fence.

scared the shit out of me last night when I had a full on Avalanche come off the roof. One of the big cornices that formed in the last storm let loose and it and a few hundred pounds of snow and ice above it all came off all at once with a bunch banging off the outside wall of the bedroom. needless to say that shit woke me up in a flash.

my wife heard that Burleigh county and the city of Bismarck are not running plows today....don't know where she heard that or if its credible but that is what she told me.

I am stuck inside for yet another day.......if this winter continues I will need to embark on some indoor hobbies as mine all involve being outside generally

Our city is very weak in this aspect also, they tend to let most of it become part of our winter driving experience. Seems since living in western ND, we don't really get hit often, but when we do the removal of snow is slow and minimal.

I am only slightly complaining, as I am able to get to and fro, but its rougher than a cob, and likely not car friendly.

They are running them, saw them out earlier. Just read that they are only going to plow emergency routes now.

That's one good thing about where I live, 150' from my driveway to the emergency snow route. Worse case is I snow blow a path to it. But with the wind today its filling in pretty quick.

I would stop going fro immediately. It's your choice.

Just a little breezy today for NoDak. 50+ winds.
Only early December and already wondering where one is suppose to blow the snow? Front yard is full and boulevard is full.
I hate winter!!!

Where to put the snow? Easy peasy, get out now and shoot the blower spout straight into the air, and let the wind carry it 2 blocks away! :;:rockit;:;rofl

I would venture a guess of 20 plus inches of snow in central nd.
