Drove from Bis to Fargo yesterday (4/10). Crystal springs was still frozen and mostly white on the E end. The shallower stuff in the area was either open or the ice was dark. Saw a coyote on the ice on the far E end of Crystal and I was waiting for him to "sploosh" at any second.

The big slough on the S side @ Cleveland is open.

N side Hobart is still white ice, S side is open.

On Tuesday, Devils Lake was still socked in pretty good except for the bridges.

Yesterday I could see that there was still ice on the south side above the dam. It also looked like some in the state park bay. The image also suggests that there is still ice along the south shore west to the Beulah Bay area.

Wind blew the ice south yesterday, good chunk of the north side was open. South sides were fairly locked up from Beulah to the 83 embankment as of 6 pm. seen one boat fishing the pump station on the Sak side. first boat I've seen on the lake this year. I can imagine it'll be only a mater of days now!

I’m headed to Douglas later this morning. I’ll post conditions later today.
It really cleared out yesterday. Douglas went from about 30% open yesterday morning to 90% open by the end of the day yesterday. I’m guessing we will be ice free on the east end by the end of today. I saw 5 boats out yesterday. Ziegler ramp is operational and the dock is in.

Garrison bay still had a sheet in front of it and some random floaters towards the marina as of 7 pm last night. Most of the bay was open. I'm sure it was the same sheet that I seen the day before on the south side by the Dam. Lots of open spots in the ice sheet. I would expect today or tomorrow should pretty much kill the last of it.

I fished the East end out of the state park in Pick City yesterday. Docks are in there. There's some ice floating around that I had to push through but its all mush. Fishing was slow, only got 4 but they were quality fish. Water temps that I saw were 33-38.
