Spent today driving to Minot. On the way up I drove the south side of the lake, on the way back the north side. Saw 3 birds on the 350+ mile journey there and back.
Probably best for you eastern guys to stay home, or hunt SD

I heard a guide in Mobridge saying how they were shooting 200 birds a day with his clients. Of course these are all pen raised LOL. Oh but these were the spendy ones that weren't raised with blinders on.

Pembina pheasant hunting tip #2:

Ground pounding is not only ethical, it's highly encouraged. No mercy!!!

(as illustrated in the picture above; ground pounding 2 or 3 with one shot gets you free beer at the bar in Pembina)

If your not ground pounding out of the window with a marb red lit and a Budweiser between your legs are you really even pheasant hunting?

I went out yesterday south of Alexander the wind was crazy but we managed a 2 person limit of pheasants and grouse we only managed 3 Huns and saw more of them then anything but you try hitting those suckers in 50+ winds it's a challenge that's for 😊😊😊
