making examples Allen same as any other reason you make things an example as to not do what this person does, you aren't going to change my mind on banning a whole set of dogs because on a few bad owners. even so where did you come up with 1,000,000 dollars in medical bills or someone's life worth ever heard of negligent homicide, are you over exaggerating the million dollars or do you have any examples of your bag of stats do provide me with an example of this million dollar medical bill for a dog bite, or are you like the guy in my meme did on the other thread that's very distasteful of you, shame on you.😏

Try doing a little something worthwhile in your internet searches.

https://www.payerlawgroup.com/the-value-of-a-life-in-a-wrongful-death-claim/

Once a person decides to sue for a wrongful death, there really isn't much of a limit in what they can ask for in compensation. Lifetime's worth of earnings, pain and suffering, outright medical expenses, therapy, and plastic surgery. When added together these can easily be upwards of a million dollars.

Try not to be such a tool.

I remember my first shorthair (to much bloodhound breaded in). I always biked with her on a leash. My daughter was little we were riding and out from a yard somewhere comes a german shepard. It was on us immediately. My daughter pedalled as fast as she could - we were not outrunning it. I dropped the leash. I heard major scrapping and within a few seconds my shorthair was back with us. I looked back seen the german shepard laying in the street. My shorthair was 2/3rds its size. I looked once and didnt look again nor took that street again. Hope it lived. Keep em on a lease

A good read on the pitbull and the overall consensus is that a pitbull that is well trained greatly benefits that overall life of the owner and the dog.

Why stop at just one let's ban all aggressive dogs because some people can't be responsible and ruin it for the rest of the millions of owners out there who are.
For the record I was attacked by our family Doberman in the early 80s when these dogs where sought after, I was 4 or 5 throwing a stick and he would fetch it but I was also hitting him with the stick when he finally bit me on the shoulder one time. I knew I would be in trouble from dad because I was told to not provoke him like I did times before,
the other time I was bit on the top of the head because I was being to aggressive with the pups and made the puppy cry, she was laying down nursing the other pups while I was sitting on the floor next to her she bit me one time and I never forgot that.
So both instances I was to blame for the dog attacks but I'm not comparing my situation in the same way as these people above. Clearly the dog was provoked to attack, if the dog owners had trained and properly been watching over these examples with thier children perhaps things good have been different.
I'm still blaming the owners since these dogs take a special training just like any other aggressive dog breed, but let's just ban them all.

Owning an aggressive dog and leaving them alone with your kids is like playing Russian Ruelette(sp), IMHO. You can say what you want about pit bulls, but there is a reason they are banned in some towns. And Lunk, I agree that shitty owners are part of the problem, but I’d never trust one, ever.

This is a cane Corso another aggressive dog listen to what this man says because he speaks the truth. Bad owners are 95 percent of the problem when dealing with dog attacks granted like everything else there're exceptions to the rule but it still doesn't make one aggressive dog worse then the other when they are not trained properly. Get rid of all aggressive dogs so the world is a safer place for the snowflakes.

Camped at Bemidji State Park a half dozen year ago...maybe more... a tenting family had...what appeared to me....were 3 Rottweilers staked/tied to a picnic table/bench and were being agressive to anyone walking/biking near by...this included youngsters biking by the campground route to the swimming beach and others walking their pets(on the gravel road). We...my dog included, springer..on a leash..avoided the area...but there was no way in hell that aggressive a dog should have been allowed in a STATE PARK...no way..and you cannot convince me otherwise. IT DID NOT BELONG THERE!! FULL STOP!

100% false, if you need to have special training to own a dog of a specific breed and avoid it killing people, its not an owner problem its a breed problem. I MIGHT support people owning dangerous breeds IF there was some kind of certification/training required AND they had to maintain additional insurance in case something bad happens. The easier and safer solution is just to restrict ownership of these dogs however. The owners in the video arent BAD, they are just ignorant and have the wrong species of dog, because some IDIOT told them there are no bad dogs, only bad owners...
