I saw a group about 75yds off of HWY 83 near the turn off for Riverdale about 6wks ago.

I saw a group about 75yds off of HWY 83 near the turn off for Riverdale about 6wks ago.

There has been a herd between 83 and Riverdale for quite a while now, definitely at least 15 years that I know of.

I recall a herd hanging out on the sidehills along I-94 in Bismarck in the 70s. Until a tough winter wiped them out.

Winter of 79, some got wiped out crossing the 94 bridge, unfortunately watched several die outside of BJC while in class. Biology instructor even said that they had hay bales out but that is not what they eat and starve with full bellies, had quite a few bodies around campus

There was a herd of 19 east of Wilton in 79. Everyday we would go out there would be another dead one . By the end of winter there were only like 5 left.
