White privilege is on display in this poster. That's why they are not depicted as rebelrousers.
Makes me want to punch that baby again

I still haven't figured out what Mr. Openmouth is doing wrong either. Any safety nazis out there? Anybody know?

Coming from someone (me) with a vast pool of obscure knowledge, I'm saying he's diving in before the prior kid is out of the way. Unlike the safety conscious white girl who is patiently waiting at the ladder.

I actually work at a company that supplies swimming pool equipment. We had some douche call us up because a few years ago, on the cover of our catalog, we depicted a cartoon Otter diving into a pool, while wearing goggles. Some douche guy called us up and chewed the receptionist out, because it's not safe to dive with goggles on, because the make-believe (cartoon) otter could damage his eyes.

Now, I didn't get a chance to talk to this douche, but in his douchiness (sp), he neglected to remember that otters don't wear goggles when they dive off of a diving board. Nor do otters dive off of diving boards. Nor do cartoon otters have real eyes to damage.

He was apparently kind of douchey (sp).

That is all.

My children are both in swim team, they wear goggles during every event, all of which start out by diving off of the platform, the only event that doesn't dive is the back stroke, but it is mostly white kids, no otters involved so I can see the guys great concern.

I was on the swim team until about 7th grade. I did, in fact, wear goggles as I dove off the starting blocks. On a few occasions, they fell off as I hit the water.

I have a dream, that one day, people will stop being so butt hurt about everything. This world sucks nowadays.

You mean like when a cat comes into their yard? :)

Cats are one of the big reasons for the reduction in song birds throughout the country. If you're going to be irresponsible enough to just let your "pet" roam free all night long, bad things are going to happen. My dog doesn't get the same treatment if she runs around the neighborhood. I think the owners need to take a pellet to the ass cheek. The cat's doing what it's meant to do.

anyone remember bb gun fights? dammit those were fun. Until someone got shot in the face then dad snaps your brand new daisy over his knee.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Damn white people.

My dog spent the night in the animal shelter just a few weeks back, he decided he was going on walk about, someone didn't like it and called him in. $50 later he was back home shitting up the yard, my yard that is.

You're the type of butthole who ruins pool time fun for the Inuit and Scottish.

Yup. I have a cat. It stays indoors. Worthless as can be, but it bothers nobody outside of our house. I don't mind cats at all, but hate to see cats in my yard catching the birds that my wife feeds, although I've never shot one (yet).

BB gun fights were very fun. Man, they were fun. Until my pal got shot in the face and broke his glasses, and his mom told his dad, and his dad told my dad, and my dad killed me. Took away my Powerline 880 for a whole summer.

I would like the 1st Amendment violated by forbidding the mention of "BB gun battles". When I look back it's not with nostalgia it's with piss shivers. My Lord, that's so freakn' dangerous. Witnessed a Daisy 840 broken in half across my friend's ass (wearing a snow suit). Mine was confiscated on scene until the arrival of my dad. Luckily, my punishment was just silence and confiscation for a few days. Very surprising considering the temper of Dad. Damn, I was scared. Mom likely saved me and the gun then.

I did not do BB gun wars as I was taught a hard respect for firearms. Shot a lot of birds, though. And never shot towards town(mostly). I did watch a buddy shoot another in the back with a BB though. He said "safety check" then pulled the trigger. Apparently it wasn't on safety and it buried a quicksilver BB deep into said buddy's back. I did do something really dumb though. We used to hide behind a berm and lob live 22 shells into old machinery with a sling shot. As a rimfire, they went off 90% of the time. Never got caught doing that or it would have been bad.

ha ha - we would tape shotgun shells to big rocks in the field outside town and shot at them until somebody hit the primer

Well, my daisy must have had a governor on it as you could watch the trajectory of said BB. Which is probably why I'm such a poor shot with a rifle. Not every round arcs to the ground within 30 yards. I still respect firearms and always have, but I wouldn't give up those memories. In those days, bottle rockets and roman candles were also used. Where the hell were our parents? Probably waiting to say "I told you so."
