There is no president that will stop this. I believe it has to come from local..look at the PSC for example. They could stop it but it would hurt their political career. This is for energy anyways. To many people elected are worried about advancing their own career vs doing the right thing. It won't stop until it's to late in my opinion.

Let’s take this a step further and play it out. Let’s say people start supplementing their own power. What happens when the demand on the grid drops? Does the electric company reduce rates? Or do they continue jacking them up on the remaining customers to keep their profit or operating margin, which would in turn continue to amplify the issue…. Then what? Will the law demand you cannot live off grid or sustain yourself? These next 10-15 years we need to be very very careful who we are putting into office and I agree it starts with local movements to place people who actually want the best for the majority of citizens instead of the corporate puppets we have now rhat get in front of the tv and tell us how great dumping our tax dollars into something will be. They are all fucking liars. Hoeven, Cramer, Armstrong…… the whole lot of them want the big dogs to eat first.

She did recuse herself from the pipeline siting hearings but still will gain greatly when it goes through. She said at the Amvets breakfast meeting that she was only paid a small amount of around $20,000. for the initial contract. Don't know how much more she will receive when they start to sequester it but according to the current info, SCS will be burying around 18 MILLION tons of CO2 per year. At $85.00 per ton, paid for by the U.S. taxpayers" Federal government," Her family might become filthy rich along with many others in this enormous green scam. People need to wake up and start to pay attention to the corruption in our State!
Lol, just like property taxes huh? My point is regardless of the daily price...which could be put towards off grid as well. At some point it will be more cost effective and RELIABLE to just go off grid. There could be a shift in where the money goes. I think I stated earlier..IF I was building new I would look at off grid as an option.. over a longer term it MAY be more cost effective.
