Anyone on here deal with Raynauds? I’ve never been actually diagnosed with it but there is no doubt in my mind that I have it. I’ve dealt with cold hands and feet since I was a kid and stumbled upon on article about Raynauds a few years ago and realized that’s my issue. I remember growing up thinking I was a sissy because my hands and feet were always cold. It’s miserable dealing with this, it becomes debilitating at times. In the winter I put hand warmers by my toes in Muck Arctic boots and my toes will still get cold and it’s basically impossible to keep my fingers warm. I was messing around with a thermal imager at work and it was really eye opening. You can see the difference between my coworkers hands and my hands.

Battery powered socks and gloves were a game changer for my kid when ice fishing or cold sits.

My wife has something that sounds similar, probably the same thing but I don't remember things like that very well. When it gets cooler out her fingers will turn even whiter

My wife had Raynaud's. It doesn't have to, but usually is associated with other chronic conditions, such as Lupus or in her case Scleroderma. Symptoms are cold toes and fingers and hers turned white then blue from lack of oxygen.

There were studies on using ice plunges - (I know it sounds counterintuitive) to get the blood vessels to stop spasming. My want to look into it.

I deal with something similar. If you are seeking more info in terms of sitting out in cold hunting or fishing, Mittens with a thin pair of gloves inside them. Put the heat pack in the mitten or invest in a good pair of battery operated socks and gloves. Get the ones where they heat all the way to the end of the toes or fingers. For fishing in the winter the best is obviously a permanent, but if you are dealing with other types of ice houses, fatigue flooring works wonders. All in all it makes the cold tolerable, but not always comfortable.

This sounds miserable, as is having sweat puddles in the boots within 30 minutes of hitting the ice.
