Remington model 30 express 30 06

The old man wants to put a differnt stock on his 30 06 He wants a pistol grip stock. Looking for ideas as to who I should go to.

I just ordered a stock from the above. Mine is an unfinished version, but I like doing the finish work.

Because he had a 308 with a carbon fiber pistol grip stalk he liked the way the gun shot other then that I don't know. M30E already has a stainless steel barrel

For me...

Original wood stock I cracked running through deadfall in cattails chasing a deer some twenty years ago. Also broke the scope and hurt my ribs. Lesson learned.

Replacement synthetic I cut down to fit my girlfriend and son last year. I now have a Tikka that fits them, so I can man-size my 25-06 again. And I chose to go back to wood.
