RIP Rowdy Roddy Piper. He was one of my favorites wrestlers back in the when I could stay up late on Saturday nights to watch him on WWE. Back when we only had 2 1/2 channels NBC, PBS, and sometimes when the wind was right CBS.

LOL I can't remember who Rowdy Pipers wrestling partner was when they would go against the british Bullodogs or the Heart Brothers. I havent watch pro wrestling since I found out they were not real. :;:
Luckily for us we have another athlete from back then Bruce jenner to take over the skirt wearing!

Haha, Wrestling brings back memories. The crusher was my hero but my dad didn't want me watching all star wrestling, It's all fake he would say. I finally rigged up a big old council tv in my room when I got older, complete with half a roll of tinfoil stapled to the ceiling for an antenna. The crusher was one of the "Good guys" back in the wrestling days , After watching this , I can see why he didn't want me watching wrestling.

I liked Mad Dog Machon, and chief wahoo mcdaniels. My brothers liked the high flyers but I didn't like the sissies.

RIP Rowdy, I always liked the weird movie he was in with the alien x ray glasses. This should inspire Rhonda Rousey tomorrow night.

Lunker, it was an online picture I copied and pasted . Brothers Butcher and mad dog vachon were quite the tag team at one time. I always wanted to see Andre the giant wrestle Haystack Calhoon but never did. I giggled when they had midgets wrestle.

One of the best to ever grace the ring...Back in the day when I lived out in Portland OR I lived a few blocks away from Rowdy Roddy's Transmisson service and used to walk by there everyday in the hopes of meeting him or at least catch a glimpse of him. Never happened but such is life I guess. My condolences to his friends and family :;:cheers

You should probably just put that on your license plate now rather than waiting for the Tombstone. Lots more people will share in your admoration that way.

I remember him, never watched more than about 3 minutes combined of the Allstar wrestling. It seemed of very little interest.
