in another post I mentioned being taxed at 9.5% at hardees. Figured I had to be mistaken since total taxes in Williston are supposed to be 8%. Well I ran through the drive through again this morning just to see. yep 9.5%. WTF?

Fresh Hardee's biscuits are my kryptonite. I'd eat an old shoe if it was inside a Hardee's biscuit. Pretty sure those things are equal parts shortening and flour.

Something tells me they know this..pay the state the 9% and pocket the other 1/2%.......glad I haven't eaten there in a while...I had an old culvers receipt in the truck..yup..they only charged 9%...so I think we should be giving Hardees hell.

Alot of people don't even bother to figure out what the tax is suppose to be on their bill, they just pay what the cashier asks, then drive off...start paying attention to your receipts people.....just because it says 'tax' don't assume its the right tax amount, do the math.

Wiliston has a 1% tax on restaurants. Have not found what the extra .50% is for, possible on soft drinks but have found nothing.

The are pocketing the other 1/2%, there is no reason for them to add another 1/2% to the tax..plain and simple
