Brandenburg is behind every single hair brained, brain DEAD, bend you over outdoor/natural resource bill that comes forward, without fail, every session.

He's an idiot that pushes wind farms, drain tile, non resident hunter HAND OUTS, and will F%$# every single ND hunter any chance he gets.

Carry on.

Or am I reading the bill wrong? As long as you have permission you can hunt right up to said structure? If so does non posted land, wma, plots have implied consent to hunt within the 440?

IMO the 440 yard rule should be done away with. Too many areas that would limit hunting on public and private land. Also says hunting which is very vague. A bow, muzzleloader, shotgun, and or rifle have much different impacts on a 1/4 mile surroundings.
After reading it multiple times I am not sure what they are trying to accomplish.

It removes " upon the property of another ". It also removes the required consent of the person occupying the building and only requires the consent of the property owner. It doesn't specify which property, so is it referring to the property the building is on or the property one is hunting ?

I honestly think they showed up half cocked and just sent it. I can understand a bill for this group or that group but this bill literally phucks everyone 😂 if you have 4 sheds on adjoining corners of a section you need permission from 3 people to hunt your own land 😂 this thing should get laughed right out of committee

This bill needs to be killed immediately. There's plenty of public land that would be off limits if this were to pass. Lot's of idiots building a house out near a wildlife management area could refuse permission on those lands, that's ridiculous!

There has to be a way for sportsmen to collectively push back on this crap

Writing single emails etc. seems to have no effect - they feel no shame - or loathe us.

Out west here many years back a state rep was at a house new years eve party that mrs johnr and I were also at. She knew him, I had never seen or met him prior. He says first thing "you must know who I am". To which I reply, "no I sure don't" Him, "Well I am a state senator, (gives name)". I said "nice to meet you, but still have never heard of you before", as politely as I could.

These fellas that win a popularity contest sure seem to instantly find an ego, which is very ugly.

Very few are there to make a difference, they are there to fulfill a need for themselves, and their buddies.
