Small Propane Tank

Never put this kind of thought into a propane bottle, a lifetime of thought in one thread

I have had one of these fiberglass 10lb tanks for a few years now. Works great in the portable with a Buddy heater. Very light and a little smaller in diameter than 20lb tank. Believe the company that made these tanks went out of business so they aren't available anymore.

pretty sure there's a good reason why they aren't making those

there's a recall on those I think

Is that like see through to check the level?

Yes you can see through it when you hold it up to the light.

Correct they were recalled. From the research I did there were some issues with some tanks but I couldn't find anything widespread. Also appears the company wasn't documenting these issues correctly which is what probably did them it. Can't remember when I found out about it but I don't think I could have gotten my money back anyways. I have had the tank for about 8 years and never noticed any issues. It's too bad as they are the perfect ice fishing LP tank.

This seems like a dumb idea. How many people grill all of the time with 20 lb bottles??
