Next thing Canada will be sending us is semi-loads of mirrors.

Getting a little sick of fires all summer, every summer. Thinking it would be nice if they just lit all the areas that need to be burned at once, just to get it over with...

I am sick of as well. Being outside 3 plus hours a day, the smoke agitates my asthma.

My wife helped me in the garden yesterday morning and now she looks like she has pinkeye.

Fire suppression will only last so long before Mama Nature decides "No More!". Them little pine seeds need that fire to grow and she WON'T be denied the next generations of trees, regardless of what man wants or doesn't want. The End.

Maybe i'm getting old and never noticed it before, but to me it seems the last 3 years have been much smokier than the 3-5 prior to that? IDK, it won't stop me from doing what i want. Suchs for asthma people tho.

Sometimes these fires in Canada push black bears south to my folks' neck of the woods. Kinda neat to see bear tracks on our gravel road out in the prairie. Our ranch is about 4 miles off the Souris River which I assume they use as a travel corridor.

The fall of 2017 when it was super dry out west and Montana was burning up like crazy I developed hay fever and allergic asthma and have been on an inhaler ever since. Biggest pain in the ass ever. I feel your pain

I too think that it has been worse in recent years.
