Anyone else sick of this yet? I wonder how this will affect farmers crop yields, decreased solar radiation must factor in, especially over an extended time like this summer....

It will of course have climate effects, and then the liberals can really spread some cheer.

Likely a cooling effect, watch the rhetoric change, and algore turn fatter.

No harm, the farmers crops in this part of the state anyway are better than ever. I personally like the haziness and the color of the sun.......it looks cool. :;:smokin

Im wondering if its affecting my garden significantly. I have tomatoes that havent even started producing ripe fruit yet and raspberries that usually are producing by august 1st that havent ripened at all yet either. TONS of small raspberries, but they just arent progressing like normal. Same with Tomatoes, plants are HUGE, but fruit isnt ripening....

Yeah our garden is in a real suckville this season too.
I thought they seemed like a lack of light, and blamed my trees, however it must be the coal industry.

In the upside when the forecast highs are mid 90s and it only gets to 88 I'm ok with that. Amazing how many people are saying they can't work now because the haze has aggravated an underlying health issue.

It's Bush's fault!:;:muahaha
On a more serious note..hahaha Our cucumber harvest thus far is out of control. Must have planted some steroids in with them. I like pickles and creamy cucumber salad but wow! Only planted 3 plants and they went nuts this year. Tomato's..not so much...yet

Man around here the corn is horrible. Many fields didn't even produce cobs east of town. Now that has far more to do with lack of rain the last couple months. But I'm sure more light and heat back before the rain stopped would have help a fair chunk getting them off to a faster start.

Glad our fire season is pretty much done up here. June and July were horrible for smoke. Days on end with visibility less than a 1/2 mile.
