Solar Battery Charger Info

I'm looking for anyone having any experience with solar battery chargers. I would really like something of decent quality that would be capable of charging full size deep cycle and non deep cycle 12 volt batteries. There are a multitude of them on the market but from my brief scan of personal comments on the web most chargers are rated beyond their actual output. My other question is does a charger exist that can charge both large 12 volts and small electronic devices like a cell phone? Thanks for your input.

My father in law picked his panel up at menards. He's and electrician so I don't know if he did anything special. We have 12v throughout the ice house so a usb and cigarette lighter mount can be used to charge phones and electronics. Usually we fire up the generator to charge iPads, Vexilars, etc.

I have a "brunsfeild" well the kind they sell at cabelas. anyway it's just a trickle charger "2amp" but it keeps the john deere battery charged all winter, but I leave it in cab out of the weather. I think it was like 60$ but I've been wrong before

All motorized boat lifts (I have one motorized and one manual) are powered by a 12 v. car battery and kept charged by a solar panel. You have to understand that the amount of power used to raise and lower a boat into the water 2 or 3 times a day is very little. My panel is about 12" x 12". I leave the panel and battery on the lift in the winter and it is ready in the spring when the ice goes out.
