Not a Snow but this is something you don't see everyday. I just came across this video is from a couple years ago

We see them sitting in cottonwood trees in the river bottoms all the time. There was a nest up in a giant cottonwood near Stanton last spring.

Yep, seen it on the river many times. Also seen them land on apartment buildings in the twin cities.

With this full moon it’s been non stop geese coming over tonight

Agreed kurt, darks and swans staking out nesting territory on the smaller ponds,sandhills,robins,doves...even started swatting flies,now a ball buster snow storm rollin in.ugh.

No snow for us we would take every bit been some years since it has been this dry already fires all over. They were still rolling in the dark this morning while out for a walk.

Years then what? Have yet to find a decent cooking recipe other than sticks and jerky.

Hunted a farm off Squaw creek refuge nw Missouri, $ 5 non rez license,no daily limit,got lucky one day massive late afternoon wads appeared as a cold/snow front approached from the south,bigtime shoot,6 guyz 136 snows in two hours,two banded one was 18yrs old the other 21yrs,all lesser snows and Ross geese, famer came along as we were picking up,had to see what the hell was going on,said it sounded like war games.... he asked if he could take a few.... of course...."got a backhoe" we asked,he claimed his wife had the best snow goose recipe they tasted like pork roast grilled... turned out he had a barn of Russian bore hogz... he feed the hogz the geese we ate the hog tasted just like pork.true story.
