Went by McKenzie again this morning not vary many snows......maybe 5,000. But if your into bird watching especially bald eagles you should check it out would guess around 75 to 100 are out there. At one point there were over 40 in one group spread out on the ice having a goose dinner and fighting with each other over what was left. Few of the birds were even locking feet with each other in mid air. Took a few shots with the phone well there and man was it entertaining to watch them.

Gotta love this time of year. Lots of dark geese in north central nd. Some snows moving in but not thick

Saw a flock of at least several hundred north of Coleharbor yesterday.

Whats going on out there.Has to be huge numbers in ND.Sure cant find any west of 83

so they didn't all SLIDE WEST this year? weird::::;:cheers

birds are scattered from sask into SD. and I don't think this little front will do much to them as water has opened up even into northern ND

Actually they were well west of normal. Red is the normal path blue is lake oahe and the blob between them normally would be along the james. The whole roscoe and ipswich area is turning into major staging points now days.
