If I had to pick one thing to live on it would be venison stew. Balanced diet all in one pot.

I have the left over ham in a corn chowder concoction I made this morning. Mrs johnr left me and the youngens to fend for ourselves as she left on some work retreat.
I cubed up the ham, sliced up some spuds, an onion, 4 carrots sticks, and a bag of corn nibblets, then added a can of cream of mushroom, and a can of cream of chicken, 3 cups of whole milk and a crockpot set at medium for an 8 hour simmer.

I am pretty sure my kids are not even going to miss their mother tonight..
